Hazardous Waste Collection 

Each year during the Season of Creation, the Green Church Committee as well as other parishioners help to collect items that are deemed hazardous waste and bring them to the proper local facility, instead of ending up in the landfill.
Bins located at the front of the church for the month of September collect items like paint, aerosols, batteries, cosmetics, light bulbs and other items.
This process has been running for 5 years.

2023 Collection:

• hundreds of batteries of all types (2 shopping bags)
• 6 ink cartridges
• 9 cans of paint
• 1 smoke alarm
• 1 shopping bag of cosmetics
• 22 aerosol cans
• 2 lighters
