Business Arising - The list of environmental actions was reviewed and updated.
Action: Revised copies will be sent by Rose-Marie to members
- Tips of the Month for Our Common Home – Three tips per month will be prepared for the Church bulletin beginning Jan 5, 2020 – Rose-Marie will prepare this for January
- Father Paul reported that grants for eco appliances were only for residences. However he has asked Don Barill to investigate whether there are grants for Not-For-Profit organizations.
- We discussed our personal pledges and decided we would start this initiative in January.
- Chris’s letter to City Council requesting extension of the operation of the Hazardous Waste Depot was reviewed and a few changes were suggested. He will send it this week.
- The letter to the parish priests and to CWL and D&P reps was discussed. It was decided that given the busyness of December, the letter would be sent the first week in January. It will also be sent to the non-Catholic churches. Rose-Marie will prepare a draft for the review of the committee.
Next Meeting – The first week of January – Rose-Marie will send a poll to see what day is best.
